About Us
Swing Dance Kobe is an inclusive community brought together by a love of Lindy Hop, the swing dance that flourished in the 1930s. We’re a small team of volunteers who organise events throughout the year, bringing venues, bands and dancers together to share good music, good company and the joy of dancing.

Lucy
Lessons & workshops
Lucy (Japan) looks after our dance lessons. She teaches alongside Roger in workshops and also leads her own lessons at events, sharing the fun of swing dancing with our community.
Roger

Roger is Swiss and based in Australia, but Kobe is a regular stop on his travels. He has been dancing Lindy Hop since 1995 and shares that experience through workshops here. He also helps organise events, plays swing tunes as a DJ, and built and maintains this website.
